The Trip to the D.A.R. archives typically leaves before 7:30 a.m. and returns to Fredericksburg around 6:00 p.m.
The train schedule varies, so please contact The American History Company at (540) 371-6822 for exact times of departure and arrival. If it is more convenient to meet the group closer to the D.A.R., please let us know where you will be meeting us in advance. If at all possible, however, arrange to ride up with the rest of the group. You may find it easier to ask preparatory questions before you get to the archives. Similarly, you will have more free time to have your questions answered on the way home.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to not bring any original documents with you.
